Raider!

Dear Classmates,

An update: Since our reunion, we have lost two classmates, Joan Chernalis and Roger Windeler. Also, sadly, the Class of 60 lost Lawrence “Bucky” Edler just one week after their 50th reunion. Happily, though, I’m glad to announce we have the pleasure of bringing one "back from the dead" – Elaine Kurtz Scardo has been found alive and well in New York State. As Phyllis said, we should all be so lucky to get a second chance.

Also, we have found a missing person – Barret Thiele (actually he found us through our website). He is living in Red Bank, New Jersey and has a winter home in Florida, and is planning on coming to our reunion in February.

We would also like to update you on some of the people planning to attend our Florida reunion. All have mentioned they will attend at least one function.

Bob and Rita Rao, Steve and Ginny Ardia, Conrad and Judy Henrich, Jean and Chuck O’Brien, Mary Bonin Reitz, Donna Castiglione Bocco, Phyllis DeFino Ims, Betty Hanney Curtis and her husband Bob, Evelyn Hansen Sensale, Elsie Holm Harp, George Irwin, Bill and Ann King, Marlene Kubis Ryan, Dave Matthias, John and Carol Muller, Jim Piccoli, Betsy Ross Behrmann and her husband Bill, John and Palma Sainsbury, Pat Skinner Pannicke, Joyce Van Nimwegen DeMonte and her husband Vito, Angelique Von Arnauld, Carol Walder Storms, Barbara Young DeRose and of course, Lynn and myself.

Would also like to remind you, this reunion is for all graduates of Ramapo (though we are concentrating on just the first four classes 57, 58, 59 and 60. I know the Class of 60 has several people interested and the Class of 58 has people attending as well. There is still time to make your reservations at the Waterfront Inn in The Villages. These reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival without penalty. All the details are on our "News" page. Come and join the fun February 24, 25, and 26, 2011.
